Honorius, 393-423 AD. Gold Solidus (4.4 g), Constantinople mint, struck c. 403-408 AD. Helemeted and cuirassed bust of Honorius three quarters facing, holding spear and shield. Reverse: Constantinoplis enthroned facing, head right, holding scepter and Victory on globe, foot on prow; star in left field. RIC 30. Well centered, sharply struck, and fully lustrous. Extremely Fine.
