Caracalla, 198-217 AD. AE 26 of Isaura, Cilicia. A numismatic gem! Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right of young Caracalla. Reverse: Tetrastyle temple, with central column surmounted by bust of Zeus right. SNG Levante 263; SNG Paris 497. Deep olive patina, with earthen highlights. Sharp strike with superb child portrait. Superb Extremely Fine and virtually as struck.
