Hasmonean Period. Mattathias Antigonus, 40-37 BC. AE 23 mm. (Four Prutot). . Hen-481. Double cornucopiae, Hebrew inscription around and inbetween. Reverse: Filleted ivy wreath, Greek inscription around. Hendin 481; AJC I, V4. Red, green, and dark patina, with some earthen highlights. Reverse a little off center. A little peripheral inscription weakness on obverse, but overall better than usually seen. About Very Fine.
