1839 Braided Hair Cent. Booby head. . N-13. Del Bland graded AU-50. Mint state sharpness but between the date and stars five to thirteen are several minute nicks plus a scratch from star thirteen to the lowest curl and around ONE CENT are some moderate sized very shallow defects. Lustrous medium dark steel brown with the faintest traces of faded mint color on the reverse.
