1794 Liberty Cap Cent. . S-51. Del Bland graded VG-10. Sharpness of Very Fine-35 but the reverse is corroded and an attempt was made to improve it by tooling the surface leaving OF AMERICA obliterated or nearly so. Corrosion and pit marks still show, a long portion of the edge over N in UNITED was filed down and under a glass traces of smoothing can be seen in the obverse fields weakening the lower half of 794. Dark steel brown, tan high points on the obverse.
