Boldly struck for this die pairing with full details on the eagle's breast, tail and wing feathers. The toning ranges from a muddy brown to a streaky dark brown in places, as usually seen on copper patterns of the period. Only a few have been graded, and coin remains as a rarity-7 variety. Nearly a gem, and worth a strong bid from pattern specialists.
