Half Dollar. 1877-S. ANACS graded MS-63. Breen-5015. Listed in the Breen Encyclopedia as "Extremely Rare" with No Drapery on Liberty's elbow, and a micro "S" mintmark on the reverse. Frosty and lustrous, with golden toning fading to blues and greens around the periphery. A scattering of trivial contact marks, and certainly one of the very finest known of this rare variety, and very lovely too.
