Half Dollar. 1853. Arrows and Rays. Double Die Reverse (on holder). ANACS graded MS-61. Frosty and lustrous, with some light toning on the obverse and reverse peripheries. Well struck, with the doubling noted on HALF DOL. visible with a glass. Scarce and desirable, and noted as "very rare" in Breen's Encyclopedia. Cleaner fields and devices than one would expect for the grade.
