1866. With Motto. NGC graded AU-58. Lovely golden toning. Likely an early retrieval from circulation judging from the amount of luster present. The surfaces are frosty gold with typical light abrasions. Regarding this date, the clearest details are found throughout the peripheral areas and also encompassing the key centers which, except at the shield’s center, are relatively clear as noted in the eagle’s feathers and sun rays above.
