1877-CC. NGC graded EF-45. Toned. Only 8680 minted of which merely 135 examples are estimated to have survived. Appreciably better surfaces than usual for this date and mint, with smooth features, rims that are free of injury, and pleasing to the eye. The devices are wells truck with perhaps the only softness being noted at the eagle neck feathers. Pop 20; 36 finer: 11 in 50, 6 in 53, 13 in 55, 6 in 58 (PCGS # 8343) .
