Central circle, diademed and draped bust left within; + EADPEARD REX ANGL" ("N" reversed) around. Reverse: Central circle, small cross pattee within; +AELFSTAN M-O BEDA around. Boldly struck on good metal. Old, even deep gray, with dark, smoky recesses; some lighter iridescent areas, with residual luster. Rare, more so in this special grade. Interesting portrait. NGC graded MS-62.
