Peru - North. 8 Escudos, 1838-M (Lima). Fr-87; KM-156. Flag-draped national arms with wreath above. Reverse Standing Liberty with shield and Liberty cap on pole. Very few specimens exist, probably less than 10 are known. This specimen is well struck and nicely centered, highlighting its lustrous fields. Very Rare. NGC graded AU-58.
