Lincoln Carte de Visite From A Brady Negative. Full-length, seated portrait of Lincoln, turned to his left, 4 x 2½ in. Imprint of E & H.T. Anthony, New York, on verso, "From Photographic Negative in Brady's National Portrait Gallery." Alexander Gardner took the photograph for Matthew Brady; Anthony received some of Brady's negatives in payment for photographic supplies. Mount is slightly trimmed at corners, some toning, and a few stray marks; otherwise, in good condition.
