Nero, 54-68 AD. AE As, Lugdunum mint, struck c. 66 AD. Bare head right. Reverse: Victory alighting left, holding shield inscribed SPQR. RIC 543; BMCRE 381. Smoothing primarily to the obverse, with perhaps some barely perceptible tooling to the profile. Still, a sharp strike, perfectly centered on nearly round flan, with attractive deep green to olive patina, all in excellent style. Extremely Fine.
