1826 Capped Bust Half Dollar. AU-55. This one has been lightly polished, but has now retoned with medium gray and gold on the obverse, lighter silver on the reverse. Nicely struck by the dies, with light cracks through the reverse legends.
Estimated Value $125 - 175.
From the Benson collection and purchased from Ira S. Reed on June 24, 1944 for $1.50.
