1812 S-288 R2 Large Date Turban Head VF20. Sharpness VF35 but there are several patches of shallow corrosion and verdigris on both sides, strongest around the stars behind the portrait. The majority of the planchet is smooth and attractive and there are no notable contact marks. Glossy dark olive and steel with underlying frosty luster showing through in protected areas on the reverse. MDS.
