1808 S-279 R1 Turban Head F12. Glossy chocolate and olive brown with some lighter steel brown toning in protected areas on the reverse. The obverse is slightly weaker than F12 while the reverse is stronger. The only defects are a small patch of raised verdigris in the field above the head and another at star 9. The remainder of the planchet is smooth and the reverse is choice.
