Lot 929
1807 S-271 R1 Comet Obverse F15. Sharpness near VF30 but there are some old, light scratches on the portrait and the surfaces are not perfectly smooth. The roughness is faint and is mostly hidden under a rather glossy dark olive brown and chocolate patina. M-LDS showing a strong "Comet" break in the field behind the head. Looks better that the words might imply.
