1873-S $5 Liberty. Population reports 10 in this grade with 8 in AU-53, 3 in AU-55 and 1 in MS-61. NGC graded AU-50. A well struck example with some chatter marks scattered about the obverse services. Although a fair number were struck for circulation, few were saved and specimens above very fine are seldom encountered.
