Sale 96

Lot 842

1835. NGC graded MS-65. A nice white coin with satiny luster and just a hint of gold toning starting to form. The surfaces are satin sweet and nearly free of any signs of contact, which is quite a miracle for a dime of this early style. Most of these were pretty well circulated during their time, and only a modest number were saved from the time of issue, thus gems like this are quite rare today. Pop 24; 8 finer in 66. Estimate Value $5,500 - 6,000
