1798 S-166 R1 Style II Hair with Large 8 VF30. Glossy chocolate and olive brown. A choice, very attractive example except for a planchet delamination at the dentils left of the lowest curl. This is a mint-caused defect, but it still is a significant distraction from the otherwise excellent eye appeal this cent offers. LDS, Breen state VI, with a series of small rim cud breaks over STA in addition to the strong die crack arcing through the lower left of the wreath.
