"Being a true and correct statement of the birth, life and death of president Brigham Young…and brief biographies of his twenty-six wives, and names and number of children born to them," second edition of 10,000, published by James H. Crockwell, Press of The F.W. Gardiner Co., Salt Lake City, Utah, 5" x 6¾", 1896. Authorization for publication was given by Young's oldest living son and eight of his wives, "in order to correct the great wrong done, not only the family of President Young, but the polygamist families of all the Latter-day Saints." Blue paper covers with gilt lettering, tied with string; edges are worn, with small area missing at lower edge; interior is lightly toned but otherwise fine.
