Lot 746

1905 Barber Quarter Dollar. NGC graded Proof 66. Wonderful rainbow toning with lots of green shades on the obverse. Light gold reverse toning. A lightly frosted gem of the most advantageous order for a collector. Its high degree of mirror flash and glitter pulses beneath rich toning shades whose colors will bring gladness and satisfaction your eyes unless you are one of those poor souls who are colorblind. Nicely struck, too, with remarkable detail in the leaves and the eagle's accoutrements. Liberty seems to have a nice, placid disposition, while surrounding her are some of the most intense colorful effect we have ever seen on a Barber quarter! Pop this one in your collection to make it shine! Pop 32; 26 finer; none prettier.
Estimated Value $7,000 - 8,000.
