Lot 717

1850 N-24 R4+ AU50. Very attractive frosty light to medium brown. Mint luster covers the fields and protected areas and this cent offers outstanding eye appeal. No spots or stains, only a few trivial marks. A tiny nick on the center of the front edge of the neck and some weakness in the dentils over the first S in STATES (as struck) can help identify this cent. MDS. Tied for CC#4 honors for the variety in the Grellman census. Removed from an NGC slab graded MS63BN (NGC label #1780681-001 included). Estimate Value $600 - UP
Discovered unattributed by Dave Stark.
