1837 N-8/7 R1 Plain Hair Cord PCGS graded MS65 Brown, CAC Approved. Highly lustrous light bluish steel brown with at least 5% of both sides showing mint red. Satiny mint frost covers this cent, even the highest points of the devices, and the eye appeal is outstanding. The best identifying mark is a small spot nestled against the curl left of star 12. Nicely struck EDS (the N-8 die state). The fields are just starting to show fine radial flowlines and the dull die lines over ERICA are clear. A nice cent. Our grade is MS63.
