Lot 704

1835 N-14 R2 Head of 1836 NGC graded MS64 Brown. Frosty olive and dark bluish steel with a subtle hint of sea-green overtone on the reverse. Satiny mint frost covers this cent. The only notable defect is a faint planchet lamination over stars 6 & 7 (as struck). MDS. The swelling at the dentil tips near stars 9-11 is gone but the center dot on the reverse is clear. Our grade is MS60. The attribution is noted on the NGC label. Pop 3; 2 finer, 1 in 65, 1 in 66. Estimate Value $800 - UP
