1875 Indian Head Cent. NGC graded Proof 65 Red with/Eagle Eye Photo Cert. A pleasant gem example swooning with warm copper luster. A great deal of discussion also surrounds an Indian cent's strike. This marvelous 1875 has excellent detail with no sign of weakness to the feathers or the wreath and shield, areas where the dies sometimes failed to impart a strong impression, even on the otherwise carefully made Proofs. 700 minted.
