1914-D Lincoln Cent. NGC graded MS-65 Brown. A pleasing well struck example of this popular key date Lincoln Cent. The surfaces are lilac-brown surrounded by a hint of faded mint red. We note one minor fly-speck on the reverse rim near 6 o'clock, mentioned mainly for the sake of identification. Gem uncirculated examples have long been recognized as a classic rarity in this series. NGC reports 11 in this grade with 2 in MS-66 Brown (PCGS # 2473) .
