1800/79 S-194 R3- Style II Hair. PCGS graded AU-55. Very attractive frosty olive brown and chocolate with lighter brown and tan toning faded down from mint color in the protected areas. Essentially flawless showing only very light wear on the highpoints. A light horizontal nick high on the forehead at the hair and a bit of darker toning around ON in ONE can help identify this cent. MDS, Breen state V, with rim cuds from under the fraction to over the adjacent A, plus a new one over the adjacent C. Graded EF45 Average Plus and tied for CC#9 in the Noyes census, photo #25015. Our grade is EF45+, close to AU50. The attribution and Paul Gerrie provenance are shown on the PCGS label. Pop 2; 1 finer in 63.
