1848 N-23 R3 VF30. Sharpness AU50 but there is a very dull scratch or narrow scrape on the bust tip into the field above star 1, a spot of verdigris on the neck below the ear, and a small "B" carefully scratched into the field above the N in ONE. Glossy medium to dark chocolate brown mixed with lighter brown tones, especially on the obverse. Traces of faded mint color shows in some of the protected areas on both sides. LDS, die state b. The obverse die is worn and shows die rust at the dentils.
