1845 N-12 R3 EF45. Five points sharper but there are a few nicks on the front edge of the neck. Otherwise this piece is choice and it offers excellent eye appeal. Very close to AU50. Glossy medium chocolate brown with faint hints of underlying faded mint color on the reverse. The obverse fields are hard and slightly reflective while the reverse displays satiny mint frost. MDS, die state c early. A narrow rim cud extends from star 3 up halfway to star 4, an intermediate die state not specified in the Grellman reference.
