Shekel of Israel (Masada), Privately Issued (by ISNUMAT) Gold Medal, After 1958, 25mm. 9.6 gm, 875 fine. A handsome medal, made in Israel, features the exceedingly rare Year 5 Shekel (issued in 71 CE). Also pictured is Masada, where the last Jewish holdouts committed suicide rather than be taken as slaves by the Romans at the end of the First Revolt. Choice Brilliant Uncirculated.
