1795 C-4 R3 Punctuated Date G4. Clipped Planchet. Several points sharper but covered with fine roughness. The roughness is partially hidden under the glossy olive brown and chocolate patina on the obverse, but the reverse is closer to matte. No verdigris or contact marks. A curved planchet clip extends just inside the dentils opposite the chin and over AMER. MDS, Manley state 2.0. The date is strong and the comma punctuation between the 1 & 7 is visible. Weight 76.8 grains.
