Great Britain. Medal, 1688. Woolf-2:1; MI-631,53. Silver. 46.2 grams. 49.1 mm. by Unsigned, Holland. Birth of Prince James Satirized. Pallas committed to the care of the three daughters of Cecrops. The three daughters represent England, Scotland and Ireland. Reverse: A withered rose-bush with two faded flowers represents the King and Queen, who generally believed, would never have children. Steel gray toning. NGC graded MS-63.
