Lot 412

1852 N-12 R1 AU55. Attractive lustrous golden light olive brown. Very close to mint state but both sides display extremely faint hairlines, perhaps from being touched with an inappropriate brush. No spots or stains, and the only mark is a very small rim bruise at star 5. M-LDS, die state b (Newcomb's old #13). The repunching under the base of the 1 is gone and a dull die crack connects the bust tip to star 1. Estimated Value $150-UP

Realized $150
