Hungary. Ducat, 1531-KB. Fr-48. 3.50 grams. 22.9 mm. Ferdinand I, 1526-1564. Kremnitz mint. Madonna and child seated. Leg: *FERDINAND.D.G.R.UNGARIE* Hungary arms below. Reverse: St. Ladislas standing holding halbred, K-B at sides. Leg: S*LADISLAUS*REX*1531. Sharply struck example with full mint brilliance. NGC graded MS-64.

Starting in 1526, the Holy Roman Emperors became the kings of Hungary as well. Ferdinand is prominently listed as king of Hungary. A great looking example.
