Lot 407
1819 N-8 R1 AU58. Mint state sharpness but there are too many tiny ticks on the cheek for a mint state piece, none visible without a good glass, plus a larger nick in the field between the coronet and star 5. Lustrous dark steel and olive. EDS with smooth, hard fields on both sides. Most likely from the Randall Hoard of mint state cents.
