Lot 390

1825 N-3 R3 PCGS graded AU55. Frosty mix of medium brown and chocolate. A sharp, attractive cent, but there are a few too many tiny contact marks for the sharpness grade. None of the marks is significant, and a thin vertical nick down from the right point of star 1 can help identify this cent. Satiny mint luster covers the protected areas on both sides. E-MDS. The tiny lump under star 6 is visible and there are no die cracks. Our grade is EF45+ sharpness net EF40. The attribution and Fricke provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 2 finer, 1 in 58+, 1 in 66 for the variety. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP

Realized $881
