1796 S-87 R3 Liberty Cap. VG-7. Sharpness VF20 but holed and expertly repaired at ER in LIBERTY and the opposing area at the denominator. The repair is barely detectable, even with a strong glass. The surfaces are covered with uniform very fine granularity. No notable marks or verdigris. The date and legends are complete and clear. Retoned a slightly glossy dark reddish steel brown and chocolate. Looks better than it might sound. EDS. Housed in a NuGrade Service (NGS) slab graded VF20.
