Lot 319

1827 N-10 R4+ VF20. Clipped Planchet. Sharper by at least 5 points but there is an obvious scratch under ONE. Otherwise this cent is choice. Very attractive glossy light to medium chocolate brown with mint frost covering the protected areas on both sides. MDS. A tiny planchet clip affects the dentils at star 1 and the opposing ones at the A in STATES. A nice example of this rare die variety in spite of the scratch, at the lower end of the condition census. Estimated Value $1,500-UP
