Great Britain. Groat, ND. S.2369. Henry VIII, 1509-1547. Third coinage, 1544-7. Mint mark, lis. Struck at the Tower mint. Crowned portrait of King. Reverse: Quartered shield of arms. A superb example of what is usually a poorly produced coin. The portrait of one of Britain's most celebrated monarchs is superb and would be difficult to better. NGC graded AU-50.
