Attica, Athens, c. 165-42 BC. AR "New Style" Tetradrachm (16.92 g) struck 132/131 BC. Dorothe(os), Dioph-, and Diokle(ides), magistrates. Head of Athena Parthenos right. Reverse: Owl standing right on amphora, head facing, with magistrates' names in five lines across field; to right, forepart of lion right; beta on amphora. Cf. Thompson 385a. Well struck. Extremely Fine.
