1893-S Morgan Dollar. NGC graded AU-53. Nicely toned on both sides. Important key date Morgan Dollar. A worthwhile rarity by any standard, the luster is still intact in a few protected regions around the letters and devices, while smooth antique gray and other toning hues blossom on both sides. This coin has the look that collectors like. It has the absence of marks that pays dividends when the time to sell arrives. Furthermore, the strike, like the surface originality, is confident, full, indeed, as bold as ever seen on virtually any 1893-S offered. Only 100,000 were minted. Most became extensively worn in circulation. The few high grade pieces get quickly snapped up. Pop 41; 61 finer at NGC. (PCGS # 7224) .
Estimated Value $20,000 - 23,000.
