Lot 2941

"F. BUHL & CO." EP-104, HB-70, S-41 10¢. Fr-EP-104. Although the case is slightly bent and a little brassy from an old cleaning, it appears free of any tampering and has good eye appeal overall. The mica is substantially clear with only some localized crazing and a single crack at about 10:00 near the frame. The stamp is well centered and has ideal color and brightness. A really good looking piece despite its flaws, and one of only an estimated dozen or so pieces believed to be extant. Very Fine.
Estimated Value $2,000 - 2,200.
