Lot 292

1853 C-1 R1. MS-60. Frosty steel and light olive blending into chocolate brown. The surfaces are satiny, and the luster covers even the highest points of the design. Possibly dipped long ago, but the toning appears natural and the eye appeal is excellent. The only defect is a trace of extremely fine roughness on the edge, probably due to being stored in an album for many decades. MDS.
Estimated Value $250 - 350.

Realized $403
