Kushan Empire. Vasudeva I. Gold Stater (7.99 g), ca. AD 191-230 or later. Mint I (A). Vasudeva, nimbate and helmeted, standing facing, head left, sacrificing over altar to left and holding filleted standard; to left, filleted trident behind. Reverse: Siva standing facing, holding lotus, filleted investiture garland and trident, and resting hand on bull Nandi standing right; above to right, tamgha; trefoil of pellets to left of Siva's right leg. MK 506. Rose tone. Rare reverse type with three-headed Siva. Superb Extremely Fine.
