1798 S-176 R4 Small 8, Style II Hair VG10. Very slightly sharper with several light rim bruises at the bottom of the obverse. The only other marks are a spot of darker toning at the front edge of the neck and a shallow spot of reddish verdigris at the base of EN in CENT. Otherwise the surfaces and eye appeal of this piece are quite nice for the grade. Rather glossy medium brown. The date and legends are complete and bold. M-LDS, Breen state VI. Struck slightly off center to K-6 leaving the bottom of the date tight to the edge.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
