1882 Liberty Seated Half Dollar. NGC graded Proof 67 Cameo. Quite simply, a beautiful specimen. It is also a rare date in all grades. The low proof mintage of 1100 is exactly one fifth of the equally low business strike mintage of 5500. The strike is superb with the frosty central designs nicely contrasted by the deep mercury like proof fields. All this cradled in a thin halo of golden russet and electric blue…outstanding!
