Wonderful group of 8 oversized photos, 11 x 14", all from the 1920s to early 30s. with 3 images of Maurice Schwartz and 3 of Molly Picon. Maurice Schwartz is considered one of the greatest stage performers in Yiddish Theater history, founded the Yiddish Art Theater in 1918 which operated for 40 years and actually appeared in several acclaimed silent films. And finally from a fantastic stage photo from a 1928 Yiddish play entitled "The Auctioneer" starring David Warfield which may be a somewhat later restrike. All photos in good condition and certainly show evidence of handling and wear as they were used for press publications at the time.
