1847 N-28 R4+ AU55. Frosty bluish light steel brown. Little if any wear, but the left obverse field and the field around ONE CENT show many tiny planchet flakes or chips, most likely from foreign matter on the dies. Otherwise free of marks or other defects. M-LDS, die state c. There are fine die cracks through much of the reverse legend and crumbling covers the top of U in UNITED. Tied for CC#9 in the Grellman census. DWH #2075.
